Negative Balance Protection Rules

1. What is Negative Balance Protection?
When account loss exceeds the available balance, your account balance will become negative. This usually occurs due to sharp price movements or market gaps. We may adjust the affected account balance back to zero in accordance with this policy.

2. How is Negative Balance Handled?
Where a negative balance occurs, we will first use any available funds under your profile to offset the deficit, including but not limited to:

• pending withdrawal requests;
• available balance in your investment account;
• available balance in other trading accounts under the same client profile, where applicable.

Once these funds have been applied, if there is still a remaining negative balance, the Company may absorb the outstanding amount up to a maximum of $1,000.

Example
For example, if your account records a negative balance of -$1,500, and at the same time you have:

• $200 in pending withdrawals;
• $400 in your investment account;
   

The shortfall will be processed as follows:

Step 1: The pending withdrawal amount of $200 will be cancelled and applied against the negative balance, reducing the deficit to -$1,300.

Step 2: The $400 available in the investment account will then be used to further reduce the deficit, leaving a remaining negative balance of $900.

Step 3: The platform will cover the remaining $900, and the account balance will be reset to zero.

3. Important Information

• Negative Balance Protection applies only to genuine deficit situations caused by extraordinary market movements. It does not apply to normal trading losses, misuse of trading conditions, abusive trading activity, fraud, or breaches of the Company’s Terms and Conditions.
• The maximum amount covered by the Company under this policy is $1,000.
• The Company reserves the right to assess eligibility for Negative Balance Protection on a case-by-case basis.
